Welcome to the Low Spinney Windfarm online consultation website.
Broadview Energy is considering the possibility of erecting wind turbines on land between the villages of Dunton Bassett to the north west, Ashby Magna to the north and Gilmorton to the south east,in Leicestershire.
Initial feasibility studies indicate the land may be suitable for such use; we are now going to carry out a range of in-depth studies to consider the potential impacts, positive and negative, to the environment. A decision to proceed with a scheme will be made when the findings of these studies are known. We have written to Harborough District Council for advice, in the form of a scoping document.
We consider community engagement to be a vital part of our project development process and we are keen to hear your views, on both wind energy and our plans for the Low Spinney Windfarm. The website will enable you to register and tell us what you think or ask any question you may have. It is intended to provide information as the scheme develops and we are keen to share this information with you, so that you can accurately form your views.
